Philosophy

Every room has a primary function. Once we have defined it, many smaller secondary functions crop up. My approach is to give these functions gestalt, to develop a form that – as impartially as possible – fits the people using the room, their visions, roles, preferences, habits, roots, and influences.

In this process, the expected and the unexpected can arise. Layers and forms that refer to the past, the present, and the future. Design that both users and visitors can understand and utilize.
